Dacorum Community Trust and Tesco Extra, Jarman Park have once again partnered for their Christmas Sweet Treats campaign, an in-store collection which aims to add a little festive sparkle to local families facing financial crisis this Christmas.

Over the last week, Tesco customers have generously donated festive treats including mince pies, cakes, puddings, chocolates and selection boxes for Dacorum Community Trust’s clients. The Trust has been overwhelmed, once again, by the generosity and good will Tesco’s customers have shown to their most in need neighbours.

Tesco also donated 200 festive carrier bags, which were packed to the brim by Trust volunteers last week and are now on their way to our clients and other local families who are facing financial distress this Christmas. Thank you to our partner agencies in Dacorum, and their elves, for their help with the distribution.

Tony Williams (Chair of Dacorum Community Trust) expressed his gratitude to Sheldon Dolman (Store  Manager), Tricia Glenister (Community Champion), and all of the staff at Tesco Extra for their support and to Tesco’s customers for their generosity.

If you would like to donate to the campaign, you can do so by following this link.

A very Happy Christmas, and hope for a prosperous new year, from everyone at the Trust.
