A couple who are reliant on benefits and struggling with the high cost of living:

A client, referred by Community Action Dacorum, who came to Dacorum to escape domestic violence. She was desperate to get back to her parent’s home and had no money for the train fare. DCT was able to help pay the cost of a train ticket and gave her a voucher for a meal deal:
I would have been out on the streets if you hadn’t helped me.
A single mother with two children, who was recently rehoused by the council after an eviction. The Trust bought her a washing machine:
